Doha: Alex Cudlin clocked the fastest time in the qualifying session of Qatar International Road Racing Championship (QIRRCH) at Losail International Circuit yesterday.
In the fifth round of the QIRRCH held under floodlights, Cudlin topped with a time of 2.02.712 to take the grid position.
Nina Prinz clocked a time of 2:04:370 to make the second best timing. Mishal Al Naimi, with his Honda bike and his new sponsor, Oreedoo, came third.
Cudlin is leading the championship with 149 points and Al Naimi is second with 116 points. Prinz is in third place with 96 points.
In the Qatar National Road Racing Championship, Czech Republic driver Pavel Nedobity will start from the pole position. Abdulaziz Abdulla will be in the second place on the grid.
