Action during the Ooredoo Cup Group A match played at Al Wakrah Stadium where Umm Salal shocked Al Rayyan 2-1 yesterday.
Saoud Farhan (60') and Ali Al Yazidi (81') scored for Umm Salal after Yacine Brahimi (18') had put Al Rayyan ahead. Umm Salal moved on to six points with their second victory, whereas Al Rayyan remained as the only team in the tournament yet to score a point, having lost all three matches.
In another Group A match, Al Wakrah beat Al Ahli 2-0 at the Al Khor Stadium. Omar Ali (11') and Yassin Abdullah (76') scored the goals as Al Wakrah stayed on top of the group standings with nine points. Al Ahli stayed on four points following their first loss.
