Qatar Chamber (QC) will organise a seminar on the role of the Qatari private sector in achieving the effectiveness and efficiency of strategic storage tomorrow.
QC Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al Thani (pictured) and QC First Vice-Chairman Ahmed bin Towar Al Kuwari, and other board members, as well as officials from concerned governmental bodies will attend the event.
The event will also be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), and the Strategic Storage Team, as well as a number of businessmen and representatives of companies working in the storage sector.
The seminar, which will be presided over by Board Member and Chair of Food Security and Environment Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Obaidli, aims to review views of the private sector members and Qatar Chamber about the strategic stock.
It will discuss issues related to the role of the private sector in providing strategic storage of food and consumption goods as one of the key pillars of Qatar National Strategy for Food Security.
It also will highlight the Law No 24 OF 2019 concerning organising and control of strategic storage of food and consumption goods.
