Doha: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, represented by the Environmental Monitoring Patrols, seized a truck for driving through a wild garden while it rained in the country recently.
This was in violation of Law No. 32 of 1995 regarding the prevention of harm to the plant environment and its components and necessary action was taken against the violators.
The Law No 32 of 1995 elaborates on "prevention of harm to the plant environment and its components states that it is prohibited to drive cars, equipments, and machines randomly in the areas of plant environment and their passage is limited to paved roads and is punishable if caught violation".
The Ministry called on the public to not enter by vehicles and machinery in areas of the plant ecology, including meadows and reserves, and to use paved roads instead so as to protect the environment of Qatar.
