Al Jeryan Stud-owned AJS Jamran raced to Al Gharafa Cup victory, giving jockey Alberto Sanna his fourth victory during the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club’s (QREC) eighth race meeting at the Al Rayyan Racecourse, yesterday.
Apart from guiding AJS Jamran to triumph in the 1,500m feature for 3YO Purebred Arabians, Sanna also rode Shgarde, Coefficiente and Naheb Al Naif to titles, stealing yesterday’s show that saw a total of nine races.
QREC Racing Manager Abdulla Rashid Al Kubaisi presented the trophies to the winners.
