In a statement yesterday, Attiyah said that the competition isn’t easy given competition from top drivers, as well as the rugged tracks, and hoping "to make good of the comfortable lead difference and continue on the same approach to finish the rally on the podium."
Al Attiyah said that he is extremely happy for the victory, adding that he is keen to represent Qatar and the Arabs in all international competitions. He also called on all fans across the globe to attend the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, according to Qatar News Agency.
