Subsidiaries of AZF and QFCA sign MoU to support sports in Qatar

Doha, Qatar: The subsidiaries of Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF), in collaboration with the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC), signed a two-year strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) on February 3, 2026, on the Web Summit Qatar.

The MoU aims to enhance cooperation in supporting and developing the sports sector in Qatar, advancing the sports complex and sports business accelerator, as well as attracting local and international companies operating in the sports sector.

This collaboration seeks to expand business opportunities and strengthen investments in this vital field.

The agreement was signed by Chief of Business Development & Enterprise Management Officer at Aspire Zone Foundation Ali Abdulla Al-Mutawaa; Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Financial Centre Mansoor Rashid Al Khater; Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Legal Officer at Qatar Financial Centre Nasser Al Taweel; and Strategic Partnership Director of Aspire Zone Foundation Hanan Atwan Al Shammari.

The areas of cooperation between the two parties include promoting joint projects and initiatives.
