Doha: The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) will organise the first edition of its Ultimate Race 2022 which aims to provide the community members with opportunity to practice Triathlon in a competitive atmosphere.
The event will take place at Katara from March 18-19.
The QOC has invited Triathlon enthusiasts to sign up for the event through its official website and social media platforms and the website of the Qatar Cycling and Triathlon Federation.
On this occasion, Sheikh Suhaim bin Mohamed Al Thani, Director of the QOC Ultimate Race 2022, said “It’s our pleasure to attract all categories of our community including men, women and kids to participate in 2022 Ultimate race as we aim to raise awareness on the importance of sport for building new generations in light of Qatar national vision 2030.”
“By organising the 2022 Ultimate Race, the QOC aims to promote these fast-growing sports in our community as its annual calendar of events includes more than 13 community events and 60 professional events,” the event Director added.
