Doha, Qatar: Lusail International Circuit (LIC) and Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) showcased its commitment to advancing global motorsport through a series of high profile meetings between its leadership, LIC and QMMF President Abdulrahman bin Abdullatif Al-Mannai and LIC CEO Abdulaziz Ali Al Mohannadi and prominent figures from the Formula 1 community.
These positive discussions, held amid the excitement of the Grand Prix, focused on collaboration, innovation, and the future of motorsports.

Among the key highlights, President Al-Mannai and CEO Al Mohannadi met with Laurent Mekies, CEO of Oracle Red Bull Racing, at the Red Bull hospitality.
Al-Mannai and Al Mohannadi discussed sporting matters with Andy Stevenson, Sporting Director of Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, at Aston Martin hospitality. Productive talks with Frédéric Vasseur, Team Principal (and General Manager) of Scuderia Ferrari, centered on performance and collaboration in F1.
Team principals and managers have all praised the Lusail International Circuit for spectacular organization and shared positive feedback on the drivers’ experiences during the race weekend.
Further discussion included a session with Alexander Wurz, Chairperson of the Grand Prix Drivers’ Association (GPDA), to strengthen collaboration, exchange insights on advancing motorsport, and support drivers at regional and international levels. Al-Mannai and Al Mohannadi also engaged in discussions with Toto Wolff, Team Principal and CEO of Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, on strategic partnerships and the evolution of F1.
During his visit to LIC, Georges-Louis Bouchez, vice-president of the Spa Grand Prix organisation, met with Al-Mannai and Al Mohannadi to explore opportunities for circuit management and event enhancements.
