Qatar’s Mohammed Al Sulaiti won gold in the U-13 boys singles to add to his doubles gold at the ongoing West Asian Table Tennis Championship in Amman, Jordan yesterday.
He beat UAE’s Ali Al Hawai 3-2 in the final. Al Sulaiti and Youssef Abdullah also won gold in the U-13 boys doubles.
Qatar’s Sultan Al Kuwari claimed gold in the junior singles (U15) while Qatar’s Ahmed Jabbar and Abdullah Abdul-Wahhab won gold in U-19 youth doubles. Earlier, Qatar’s teenager Maryam Ali won a silver medal in the women’s singles competition.
