World Snooker Team Cup 2018 reaches knockout stage

Action from the World Snooker Team Cup 2018 at Qatar Billiards & Snooker Federation building in Doha yesterday. The event will end tomorrow. The competition is approved by the International Billiards & Snooker Federation (IBSF) under the chairmanship of Mubarak Al Khayareen. The total number of participating teams is 24, including two teams from Qatar. The 24 teams are divided into eight groups of three each.  Other countries which are participating include Pakistan, Wales, Ireland, Iran, Thailand, India, Hong Kong, and Egypt among others. The total prize money for the competition is $60,000 with the winner getting $15,000. The runners-up and semi-finalists will get $15,000 and $7,500 respectively. The knockout stage of the tournament begins today at 10.00am.
