With an amazing line-up of activities put together by Qatar Tourism, winter in Qatar has once again demonstrated that there is something for everyone. The eagerly anticipated Doha Jewellery and Watches Expo resumed this month and continues through today, February 25.
In addition, Qatar Live and Shop Qatar, which both run until March 18, will also be a delight for concertgoers and shoppers. From January through March 18, the region’s and international celebrities will perform in awe-inspiring sets at Qatar Live. Disney Princess - The Concert, concerts by John Legend, Mutref Al Mutref, Abdul Aziz Al Muana, Ibraheem Dashti, and Angham are only a few highlights of past events.
A treat for shopaholics – Shop Qatar, the country’s largest shopping extravaganza brings everyone the best of the country’s retail brands and destinations. Happening across participating shopping malls in the country, shopping raffle with incredible prizes, as well as sensational shows for all the family, and plenty of deals too await everyone!
The 19th Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE), which concludes today, saw more than 500 jewellery and watch brands display their collection.
The Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition is one of the headline events featured on the Qatar Tourism 2023 calendar. This year’s exhibition, the only business-to-consumer event in the region, attracted visitors from worldwide.
Many of Qatar’s leading jewellery brands also revealed their latest collection to guests during the exhibition. This year’s show also featured ‘jewellery with a cause’ in a special partnership with Valentino. Education Above All revealed a limited edition Valentino piece that carries the logo of Educate a Child.
Meanwhile Qatar Tourism (QT) has also announced new details to its ‘Feel Winter in Qatar’ campaign – an exciting, and continuous, season of family-friendly events, concerts, and exhibitions taking place throughout the country.
The suite of new activations, which have been jointly organised by QT and Qatar Airways, will fall under one of the campaign’s ‘hero’ events, Shop Qatar and Qatar Live. The biggest ever prize in Shop Qatar history, performances by the region’s biggest artistes under Qatar Live, and the return of a world-class performance, all feature in the latest announcement.
Shoppers can also participate in a range of competitions and promotions, such as the ‘Shop and Sweep’ event at Virgin Megastore branches across the country. For every QR200 spent, shoppers are eligible to enter a draw for mega prizes worth over QR2m. This year’s grand prize – the biggest in Shop Qatar’s long-running history – is the chance to win a brand-new studio apartment in The Pearl Qatar.
