SIS hosts webinar on 'Mental Health of Children and Learning from Home During Lockdown'

Shantiniketan Indian School (SIS) organised a webinar on 'Mental Health of Children and Learning from Home During Lockdown” to educate the parents in ways to cope with and manage mental health of children.
The webinar moderated by Saiju Aravind, CEO and Founder Edubrisk Knowledge Solution, was highly informative and interactive as parents, students and teachers curiously participated and posed their concerns. 
He discussed the effects of hormone in raising the level of happiness among children and how their deficiency can lead to problems like procrastination, feeling of loneliness, low self-esteem and anxiety.  
The panelists Jasna Mohammed Ismayil and Nihala Zainab — the counsellors of SIS, shared their insights on the constraints and manisfestation of prolonged lockdown on the mental and physical health of children. 
Principal of SIS Dr. Subhash Nair, thanked the panelists, the moderator and the Edubrisk team for educating the parents through the webinar with ways in which these critical issue faced by children can be handled.
