The Pearl Island’s official Contact Centre (Ittisal) was presented the most prestigious award for customer experience and excellence at the 17th annual Stevie awards for Sales and Customer Service.
United Development Company’s (UDC) representatives Abdulla Al Hammadi, Executive Director of Property Management, and Eng. Abdullatif Al Yafei, Executive Director of Public Services, received the award in the presence of over 400 professionals from all over the world at Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on Friday, March 3.
This prestigious international accolade reflects the great effort put forth by the company through its “Ittisal” contact centre, which is the official 24/7 contact center dedicated to serving residents and visitors of The Pearl Island. It aims to provide callers with accurate and timely assistance to resolve their maintenance, security, safety and other needs.
Winning this award is therefore a testament to UDC’s success in providing an exceptional customer experience, by understanding their needs and meeting their expectations through sophisticated and smart approaches based on international best practices. UDC’s customer centricity and efforts are also reflected in the continuous training and coaching techniques implemented to improve agent performance and quality.
For the last three years, UDC’s Ittisal services have contributed to a sustained customer satisfaction score of more than 90 percent, taking customer experience to a new level. Through various quality measures and assessments, this award recognised efforts to transform traditional work methods into automated ones, allowing complaints to be measured and managed effectively.
UDC was chosen amongst 2,300 nominees from various organizations and in almost every industry, across 49 nations and territories and competed against 170 professionals worldwide on
seven specialized judging committees.
