Doha: Qatar Charity (QC) has inaugurated the premises of Salman bin Jassim Cultural Centre in the Italian city of Saronno.
A large number of QC and local officials were present. In a statement yesterday, QC said that H E Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of QC, inaugurated the centre which consists of a mosque, a school, a centre to introduce Islam and its principles and values as well as cultural, social, sports and leisure facilities and shops.
“The centre QC has contributed to completion has become a destination for Muslims from everywhere in the city not only to perform their rituals but also to contribute to the development of the city,” Sheikh Hamad said.
