Ministry of economy recalls 2015-2016 Chevrolet Silverado vehicles

Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in cooperation with Jaidah Automotive, Qatar's exclusive dealer of Chevrolet vehicles, has recalled 2015-2016 Chevrolet Silverado vehicles to re-install the brake pedal position.
The ministry said the recall comes within the framework of ongoing coordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the extent of car dealerships' commitment to follow up vehicles' defects and repair them to protect consumers' rights. 
The ministry also stressed that it will coordinate with the dealership to follow up maintenance and repair operations and will communicate with customers to ensure implementation of the procedures to fix defects. 
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce urged all consumers to report any irregularities by communicating the Consumer Protection Department, which receives complaints, suggestions and inquiries through its channels of communication.
