Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar condemned in the strongest terms the targeting of two locations of the northern land border posts of the State of Kuwait by drones launched from the Republic of Iraq, and considers it a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and a serious threat to the security and stability of the region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stresses the necessity for the Republic of Iraq to assume its responsibilities to prevent the recurrence of these aggressions.
It also affirms, in this context, the full solidarity of the State of Qatar with the State of Kuwait, and its support for all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty and security.
