Cairo: The State of Qatar participated Tuesday in the Arab coordination meeting at the level of permanent delegates to the Arab League, which was held at the General Secretariat's headquarters in Cairo to discuss and follow up on the preparations underway for holding the 6th Arab-European ministerial meeting, scheduled to be held Amman, Jordan on Jun. 22-23.
The delegation of the State of Qatar was led by the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, HE Sheikh Jassim bin Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad Al-Thani.
The meeting discussed the latest arrangements for the 6th Arab-European ministerial meeting, as well as the draft declaration to be adopted during the meeting, within the framework of joint Arab coordination, to ensure the meeting produces results that reflect a convergence of positions and enhance the prospects for Arab-European cooperation.
The 6th Arab-European ministerial meeting, scheduled to be held in Amman, falls within the framework of the Arab and European sides' keenness to maintain dialogue and strengthen mechanisms for joint cooperation between Arab countries and the European Union.
