DOHA: A Qatari student, Abdullah Khalid Al Kaabi, from Hamza bin Abdulmuthalib Preparatory School was recently honoured at the awarding ceremony of Arab Reading Challenge Contest held in UAE.
Al Kaabi made it to the finals of the contest, along with 240 students from 21 countries. The contest was held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The award carried a total prize worth 11m UAE Dirham. Al Kaabi competed with over 3.5 million students participating from all Arab countries.
