The 71st Republic Day of India was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at Noble International School (NIS) Al Hilal campus yesterday.
The Chairman, Hussain Mohammed U, unfurled the Indian National Flag. The gathered audience pledged themselves to uphold the honour, integrity, diversity, and uniqueness of the country by repeating Preamble of the Indian Constitution. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity.
The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the teachers and students drew scenes of Republic Day celebrations, played instrumental music, sang and danced on patriotic songs, and even wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion.
Principal of Noble International School, Shibu Abdul Rasheed, delivered the welcome address with a short briefing about the constitution and urged to follow unity in diversity.
The Chairman, Hussain Mohammed U delivered the message and highlighted the principle of ‘Unity in diversity’. The Academic Director, Muneer reminded all about the constitution and how the students of today hold the future of their country in their hands in his message.
The students of various campuses brought the stage alive with their passion and love for the motherland by mesmerising dance performances. The performance of the school band with fusion songs elevated the celebration making it effervescent.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Vice-Principal (CCA) Robin K Jose; Vice-Principal (Academics) Jaymon Joy; Heads of sessions Nizar K Shihabudheen; Indira Ajeesh; Reshma Kapdi; K G Academic Coordinator Asma and CCA Coordinator Mohammed Hassan initiated the programme.
