DOHA: President of Qatar Handball Federation (QHF)Ahmad Mohammad Al Shaabi was elected the Vice-President of the Asian Handball Association (AHF), during a General Assembly Meeting held here today in the Ritz Carlton.
Sheikh Ahmed Al Fahd also won by acclamation to become the President of AHF. The General Assembly began with a speech by Sheikh Ahmed Fahd and was attended by President of International Handball Federation Dr Hassan Moustafa. Sheikh Fahd thanked the State of Qatar for hosting the event.
He also discussed the development of Asian handball in the last few years and the increasing number of competitions organized by the federation. The Asian body presented Moustafa with a shield in honoor of his efforts in supporting continental federations. QNA
