Shura Council member taking part in the meeting in Baghdad, Iraq.
Doha: The Shura Council participated in the meeting of the 31st session of the Executive Committee of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, in preparation for the 34th conference of the Union, which is scheduled to start tomorrow in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The meeting dealt with the draft agenda of the conference and the final account for the year 2022, and reviewed the report of the Secretary-General of the Arab Parliamentary Union.
The report included a number of issues, including the implementation of the decisions of the 32nd conference of the union, and the 33rd emergency conference of the union, in addition to the activities of the General Secretariat of the union during the last period.
