Washington: HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, met in Washington with HE Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Molly Phee, HE US Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Yael Lambert, HE Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Ethan Goldrich, HE US Special Envoy for Yemen Affairs Tim Lenderking, HE US Special Envoy for Libya Richard Norland, HE US Special Representative for Palestinian Affairs Hady Amr, and HE US Special Envoy for Iran Robert Malley.
During the meetings, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common concern. The outcomes of the 5th Qatar-US Strategic Dialogue, the long-term partnership and the solid relations between the two countries were also emphasized.
