Abeer Al Khalifa and Dr. Saheim Al Temimi
Doha, Qatar: Qatar Foundation’s (QF) Academic Bridge Program (ABP), part of Pre-University Education (PUE), has received full accreditation from the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC), becoming the first educational institution in Qatar to receive this accreditation as a Supplementary Education Center.
The accreditation followed a comprehensive evaluation process that included in-depth self-study and an initial visit by a team of experienced educators, who assessed ABP against the standards for Supplementary Education Centers, with a focus on the quality of student learning and well-being. The accreditation represents an important step in ABP’s journey to further strengthen academic and educational quality assurance through an ongoing process of self-evaluation, periodic review, and evidence-based improvement.
President of QF’s Pre-University Education (PUE), Abeer Al-Khalifa said, “This accreditation reflects Qatar Foundation’s enduring commitment to excellence in education and the shared dedication across our Pre-University Education ecosystem to empowering students to achieve their fullest potential.
