Doha: The Advisory (Shura) Council will participate in the 135th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly due in Geneva on October 23 to 27, 2016, with a delegation headed by the Deputy Speaker H E Issa bin Rabia Al Kuwari. The agenda of the Assembly includes the election of the President and Vice-Presidents of the 135th Assembly, a general debate on the human rights abuses and freedom of women to participate in political processes fully.
