Doha: Qatar Tourism has announced the launch of Nami Beach, a new beachfront destination developed in collaboration with Loft A Trading and Contracting, introducing a refined seaside experience in the heart of Doha.

Designed as a contemporary city escape, Nami Beach combines coastal design with curated hospitality in a relaxed setting. The destination features an infinity pool overlooking the sea, landscaped garden areas, beach lounges and cabanas supported by full on-site amenities including showers and changing rooms.

A selection of dining concepts is available across the venue, ranging from casual favourites at Nami to Mediterranean-inspired cuisine at Nami Greek, alongside health-focused offerings at Olive Green.

Nami Beach operates daily from 8:30am to 7pm, with entry priced at QR85 on weekdays and QR125 on weekends, with complimentary access for children under nine. Membership packages start from QR1,000. The destination maintains a family-friendly environment, with no alcohol permitted, no motorised water activities, and no outside food allowed.

The development also includes Nami Ladies, a dedicated ladies-only concept offering a private and comfortable environment, with complimentary access for children under seven.

Nami Beach is now open to the public, further strengthening Qatar’s position as a destination offering diverse, high-quality lifestyle and leisure experiences aligned with evolving visitor expectations.

Inspired by coastal calm, Nami Beach offers a refined beach and pool escape in the heart of the city, where moments unfold to the gentle rhythm of the waves.

With 560km of spectacular coastline, warm Gulf waters and year-round sunshine, it’s no wonder Qatar has become the go-to place for unforgettable beach experiences.

Generally, Qatar offers stunning, diverse coastal spots, ranging from the dramatic desert-meets-sea landscapes of Khor Al Udaid to the clear, shallow waters of Fuwairit Kite Beach.

The country recently launched a national project to rehabilitate and develop its public beaches, aiming to upgrade service infrastructure and enhance the overall visitor experience.

The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with the Public Works Authority (Ashghal).

It includes the development of 18 beaches across the country, with major improvements set to unfold in the coming months in coordination with municipalities and the private sector.

Tourism is a major target for foreign direct investment in Qatar with the country attracting over 5.1 million visitors in 2025, setting a new record for its tourism sector and achieving a 3.7% growth compared to 2024, according to Qatar Tourism reports. The surge was driven by major events like the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 and Formula 1 Grand Prix.
