DOHA: The Ministry of Municipality and Environment, in collaboration with Al Shamal Security Department Patrols, has caught a number of shops in Al Zibara area selling devices used for attracting birds to catch them.
The Ministry has seized 33 devices, and violators have been referred to concerned authorities for further investigation, the Ministry said in its official website.
It also said that it will enforce the law on protecting environment and will not give a chance to anyone who violates the laws. It has also urged people to report violations.
