Doha: The Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies (CHS) at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies invited Dr Hany El Banna, OBE, Founder of Islamic Relief, who delivered a lecture titled, “Humanitarian Work in the Muslim World: Lessons Learned and Future Directions.” The event attracted DI students as well as community members interested in humanitarian work and its impact on societies suffering armed conflicts.
A world-renowned expert in humanitarian relief and development, Dr El Banna has spent over 30 years delivering Islamic humanitarian aid to people in need in more than 70 countries.
