Kuwait: Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah yesterday said the 25th Arab summit would be held “amidst very critical circumstances,” requiring collaboration among Arab countries to make the meeting a success.
The summit, to be held on March 25 and 26, is being hosted by Kuwait for the first time.
“Our countries share the same suffering, coupled with regional and global challenges,” Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled was quoted by Kuwait’s KUNA news agency as saying at a press conference on the occasion of the opening of the summit’s Media Centre.
He said Kuwait was determined to ensure that the summit, themed “Solidarity for Better Future,” contributed to joint Arab action to serve the interests of all Arabs.
