Qatar yesterday took part in the 20th meeting of GCC ministers in charge of environment affairs in Jeddah. Minister of Municipality and Environment H E Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi led Qatar’s delegation to the meeting. The session discussed a set of issues related to combating desertification, groundwater depletion, climate change, promoting GCC joint action in these areas and the preservation of the environment in GCC states.
