DOHA: The Health Monitoring Section at Doha Municipality has found a restaurant in Al Najma area preparing food in unhealthy conditions and keeping it in a hidden store to avoid inspectors.
The Municipality has booked the restaurant and sent the report to authorities concerned to complete legal procedures. It has urged all restaurants and food outlets to store food items only in the permitted places, saying that the inspection visits will continue daily.
Al Khor and Al Dakhira Municipalities yesterday organised an awareness lecture for Al Dakhira School students aimed at raising awareness on food safety.
