DOHA: The Health Monitoring Section at Doha Municipality last week caught 53 violations and closed three erring shops during 933 inspections at food outlets. Inspectors at the Municipality also conducted three inspections against street vendors and caught 28 in Industrial Area, the Corniche and Al Asmakh.
Al Daayen Municipality’s cleaning section has removed four abandoned vehicles and 350 requests related to insect and rodent control were acted upon. Meanwhile, the Public Relation Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment organised an awareness lecture on food safety environment for Um Salal School students.
