Doha: Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC) has launched a microsite for Qatar Sustainability Week, www.QatarSustainabilityWeek.com, ahead of the inaugural week-long sustainability endeavour taking place from November 13 to 19 across the country.
Members of the community can visit the site to access a range of information on Qatar Sustainability Week, including events, related sustainability news and a list of participating organisations. The site’s events map offers a detailed list of all activities taking place through the week across Qatar and how to register for them.
Qatar Sustainability Week aims to create a unique platform to showcase the nation’s sustainability vision. The occasion will provide the sustainability sector in Qatar with the support, coordination and expert advice necessary to unite their efforts under an overarching umbrella to achieve the nation’s sustainability goals.
QGBC is encouraging companies, institutions, businesses, niversities and the public to take part by registering their activities and attending planned events.
