DOHA: The Center for International and Regional Studies (CIRS) at Georgetown University in Qatar will host a public discussion on the US 2016 presidential elections, featuring two renowned experts on politics and electoral behaviour in the US.
As part of CIRS monthly dialogues series, Professors Joshua Mitchell and Clyde Wilcox will offer their perspectives. The event will be held at 6:00pm today in the Auditorium at the Georgetown University in Qatar building in Education City.
“This is an election in which two deeply flawed candidates battle over the post-1989 order, in which ‘globalization’ and ‘identity politics’ have been the central concerns,” said Mitchell.
