Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 191.52 points, or 1.83 percent, to close trading at 10,641.45 points yesterday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 198,422,359 from 164,007,167 on Wednesday and the value of shares decreased to QR601,477,611.44 from QR632,932,113.62 on Wednesday.
The indices all sectors ended in green zone today. QSE Total Return Index gained 2.12 percent to 21,982.85, QSE Al Rayan Islamic index added 2.02 percent to 4,556.40 points and QSE All Share Index increased 1.80 percent to 3,426.59 points.
