DOHA: The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion that targeted a church in North Kivu Province, eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, causing deaths and injuries.
In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons. It also stressed its total rejection of targeting places of worship and intimidating safe people.
The Ministry also expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, the government, and the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
