The event will bring together over 150 leading international figures from academia, non-governmental organisations and the media.
Health Affairs Editor-in-Chief Alan Weil will host the event at the National Press Club. “We are pleased to partner with Qatar Foundation and WISH on this forum to explore major issues confronting the global health community. Many speakers have been previously published in Health Affairs; a companion compendium containing those articles will be available at the forum. Health Affairs appreciates the authors’ participation in the forum, and is grateful to QF, WISH, Hamad Medical Corporation, Sidra Medical and Research Centre, and Imperial College London for support for much of our global content.”
Professor Lord Darzi of Denham, Executive Chair, WISH, said: “Our partnership with Health Affairs is evidence of the global impact of WISH research. We look forward to this forum, which promises discussion and debate on some of the most pressing issues in healthcare today.”
