Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has highlighted a Metrash service that allows users to authorize their relatives (wife and children) to activate the Metrash application on their own devices, even if they do not have a mobile number in Qatar.
“Users can authorize their relatives to activate the Metrash application on their phones in case they do not own a phone number,” the MoI said in a post.
To use the service, Metrash users must select ‘Delegation’ from the app’s main menu, followed by ‘Relative Registration.’
Users must then enter the required details, including the relative’s QID number, QID expiry date and the mobile number to be used for the registration. Users must then select ‘Add’ to complete the process.
Once the request is added, the concerned relative will be authorized to use the specified mobile number to activate the Metrash application on their device.
