Tokyo stocks close 0.12% higher, capped by Greece concerns

Tokyo - Tokyo stocks ended 0.12 percent higher on Friday as concern about Greece's troubled debt reform talks capped early gains driven by upbeat US retail sales data.

The Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange gained 24.11 points to close at 20,407.08, while the Topix index of all first-section shares was up 0.16 percent, or 2.60 points, to 1,651.48.
