Qatar Stock Exchange begins trading in green zone

Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index started trading yesterday in the green zone, with an increase of 0.41 percent, to add 42.28 points to its balance and reaches 10,293 points, with the support of most sectors except for the transportation sector.

Qatar Stock Exchange data showed an increase in the performance of the real estate sector by 0.73 percent, the telecommunications sector by 0.57 percent, the insurance sector by 0.53 percent, the industrial sector by 0.51 percent, the bank and financial services sector by 0.45 percent, and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.21 percent. On the other hand, the transport sector fell by 0.20 percent.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth QR45.835m, distributed to 20.266m shares, with the implementation of 1,538 transactions.
