Doha, Qatar: Minister of Municipality H E Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah participated in the Ministry of Municipality’s activities on the occasion of the National Sport Day, held at Rawdat Al Hamama Park, in the presence of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipality H E Ali bin Mohammed Al Ali; Assistant Undersecretary for Agriculture and Food Security Affairs Eng. Fahad Mohammed Al Qahtani; Assistant Undersecretary for Public Services Affairs Eng. Abdullah Ahmed Al Karani; along with several Directors General of municipalities and department heads within the ministry.
The Minister took part events organised by the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) at Aspire Park, as well as activities by the Community College at Rawdat Al Hamama Park, reflecting the spirit of community partnership and promoting quality of life.
On this occasion, the Minister emphasised that National Sport Day represents an important national milestone to instill a culture of sports and promote a healthy lifestyle in society.
He stated: “We renew our commitment to providing comprehensive and inclusive sports facilities that serve all segments of society. We strive to make our cities vibrant with sports, enabling people of all ages to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
