Yerevan: International observers on Monday said Armenia's snap parliamentary elections, won by acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's bloc, respected fundamental freedoms.

"The general absence of electoral malfeasance, including of vote buying and pressure on voters, allowed for genuine competition," observers from the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe who monitored Sunday's vote said in a statement.
