Qatar Television website was subjected to hacking attempts that were repelled by protection systems, Qatar Media Corporation said yesterday. The corporation added that the website services were temporarily suspended for security reasons while concerned authorities carried out investigations.

Al Jazeera Media Network said its websites and digital platforms are undergoing systematic and continual hacking attempts. These attempts are gaining intensity and taking various forms. However, the platforms have not been compromised, the network announced. It added that the attack is targeting all the network's systems, website and social media platforms.
