Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs H E Dr Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari met here yesterday with the Secretary General of Sudanese "Holy Quran Society" Abdulrahman Mohammed Ali Saeed.
During the meeting, Secretary General of Sudanese "Holy Quran Society" extended thanks to the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs for donating 160,000 euros to Al-Furqan Radio to purchase radio re-broadcasters for about 10 radio stations to the states of Sudan to spread the message of Islam and Holy Quran.
Al-Furqan Radio Group of the Holy Quran Society of the Republic of Sudan was launched in 2008 with the aim of spreading values of the Holy Quran in the society.
