Jakarta: Indonesia's flag carrier Garuda Indonesia said Tuesday it is offering international travelers a free domestic add-on flight when they purchase a round-trip ticket to Indonesia under its "Discover More Indonesia" campaign.
Prina Eka Putri, head of Garuda Indonesia's marketing group, said travelers can receive a free domestic ticket to various tourist destinations across Indonesia, with more than 170,000 tickets available for flight departures from Aug. 1 to Nov. 30, 2026.
The free domestic flight serves as a stimulus to encourage international travelers not to stop at just one destination, but to explore other parts of Indonesia, Prina said at a press conference in Jakarta.
Prina said that the offer aims to encourage tourists to explore more areas beyond the world-renowned resort island of Bali and the capital city of Jakarta.
