Amir patronizes graduation ceremony of 10th batch of Al Zaeem Air Academy cadets

Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronized the graduation ceremony of the 10th batch of cadets of Al Zaeem Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air Academy at Al Udeid Air Base on Wednesday Morning.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, a number of Their Excellencies sheikhs and ministers and a number of leaders of security, military and university colleges, institutes and academies from a number of brotherly and friendly countries.

The ceremony was also attended by senior officers of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Amiri Guard and the State Security, in addition to Their Excellencies heads of diplomatic missions in the country and the guardians of the graduates. 

The national anthem was played at the beginning of the ceremony. Then the commander of the graduates' queue came forward requesting HH the Amir to inspect the queue of the 124 graduates from the State of Qatar and a number of brotherly and friendly countries.

After reciting verses from the Holy Quran and the march of the graduates' queue and the military parade, Amir honored the 13 outstanding graduates. After that, the flag was handed over from the 10th batch to the 11th batch, the appointment order was read out and the parade queue left.

The air show began with a number of aircraft of the Qatari Amiri Air Force, including Rafale, Typhoon and F-15 aircraft, C-130 and C-17 transport aircraft, and Agusta 139 helicopters. A group of PC-21 and Super Mushshak training aircraft and NH90 helicopters belonging to Al Zaeem Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air Academy also took part in the show.

At the end of the ceremony, officers of the 10th batch took the oath and recited the national anthem.
