Entebbe: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a written message to the President of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, pertaining to bilateral relations and means to bolster them.
The Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs HE Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi delivered the message on Tuesday during a meeting with HE the Ugandan President in Entebbe.
At the outset of the meeting, the Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the President of Uganda, and His Highness's wishes to the Ugandan people of further progress and prosperity.
The President of Uganda entrusted the Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs to convey his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and happiness and the Qatari people continued development and prosperity.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries in addition to the latest developments in the region.
