Doha: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani held a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Turkey HE Mevlut Cavusoglu.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed, during the call, the State of Qatar's condolences on the victims of the earthquake that struck several provinces in southeastern Turkey, praying the Almighty Allah to have mercy upon them, grant them paradise, and inspire their families with patience and solace.
His Excellency also expressed the State of Qatar's support for the sisterly Republic of Turkey in mitigating the serious humanitarian repercussions left by the earthquake, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
