Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs H E Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Salih Al Khulaifi met yesterday with Ukraine’s Special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa Ambassador H E Maxim Sobh on the sidelines of the 5th UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5), in Doha.
They discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries in addition to several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The Assistant Foreign Minister affirmed Qatar’s position and keenness on the Charter of the United Nations and the established principles of international law, including obligations under the charter to settle international disputes by peaceful means, refraining from the threat or use of force, and commitment to the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of states.
