One dead, three missing in Montenegro boating accident

Podgorica, Montenegro:  A woman died and three people, including her son and husband, were missing Sunday after a small tourist boat capsized on Lake Skadar on the border between Montenegro and Albania, police and rescue services said.

The boat was transporting tourists to visit a church on one of the lake's islets.

There were at least eight people on board and four managed to reach safety, rescue services in the capital Podgorica told AFP.

The nationality of the passengers was not immediately known.

Rescue teams including divers and a police helicopter were searching for the missing, local media reported.

The cause of the accident was not immediately known but the area was hit by adverse weather.
